We are currently accepting applications for a newly started Junior Firefighter program. Anyone from age16 up to their 18th birthday are eligible to enroll in the program. Contact Chief Keating or Captain Robertson for more details.
We are a Rescue/Engine Company which is located at 159 Gaston Avenue Garfield, NJ. Garfield is 2.2 square miles and has a population of about 40,000. Company 3 responds to fire calls throughout the city and responds to mutual aid cities as well. We are the rescue company for the city with responsibilities including water rescue / recoveries & vehicle extrications, in addition to our normal firefighting duties. Company 3 responds to over 400 calls per year.
